Kundalini lights – sources of interior lighting

Since the foundation of the Italian company in 1996, Kundalini lights have been characterised by creativity and groundbreaking, unique design.

Harmony, creativity and extraordinary design
Kundalini was founded in Italy in 1996 and has ever since been driven by the idea of creating a new type of lights that serve as objects of internal illumination. This means that luminaires should always produce a creative, harmonious light and thereby should have a positive effect on the viewer. Kundalini lights are more than merely aesthetic and functional light sources: they convince with a completely new category of light. In cooperation with internationally highly renowned designers such as Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid, Norman Foster or Paolo Navone, the Italian light manufacturer put its vision of extrasensory light into practice. Kundalini designer lights such as the Kundalini Yoga, Kundalini Shakti, Kundalini Tronconi and Kundalini Abyss with their sculpture-like shapes underline this surrealist expression of artistic light in everyday life and they have meanwhile achieved worldwide fame as renowned designer objects. While they suffuse rooms and corners with harmonious light, Kundalini lights also touch the viewers on an emotional level and add their very own warmth and colour to the living area.

During the last two decades, Kundalini lights have went from being an insider tip within the lighting sector to one of the leading and renowned manufacturers of designer lights worldwide. During all these years, Kundalini still continued to attract attention by means of innovations and groundbreaking developments. Despite its growing size and awareness, Kundalini always stayed true to its mission ("extrasensory design") and has up to now contrasted a large part of the lighting industry. Given this unique nature, it is no wonder that Kundalini lights are also highly regarded in the world of media and were therefore part of numerous international film productions.

Besides its philosophic approach to lighting objects with all their facets and versions, Kundalini is always searching for new materials and, among other things, conducts intensive research in this area. In the past years, for instance, this company developed numerous new technologies that are understood as example for innovation and evolution. The most important research results include e.g. two-colour coextrusion and laser sintering. Thanks to these technologies, Kundalini is able to even better join its materials and also to transfer the visions of its designers into practice in an even more precise way, thereby always achieving impressive results. For instance, Kundalini lights such as the Shakti are made of two-colour Plexiglas with the aid of these technologies. The E.T.A. floor lamp is also characteristic of Kundalini and has long taken its place as a timeless icon in the area of floor lamps. Additionally, Kundalini blazed new trails by means of its Kundalini Abyss series: the effective combination of flexible Plexiglas and a high-voltage LED installation allowed the creation of archaic structures and organic shapes which make the owner think that he was in possession of an extraterrestrial light fixture.
