lamp, a table lamp or a wall light, embodies an expressive home accessory that stands out due to its fascinating lighting effect. A successful combination of a tasteful appearance and an impressive emission of light is represented by the Foscarini Twiggy floor lamp by star designer Marc Sadler. Taking a look at this streamlined luminaire, you will quickly see that Lesley Lawson who is considered to be one of the world’s first supermodels has served as a model for this elegant luminaire.

The Gregg range is undoubtedly one of the showpieces by Foscarini. This light range distinguishes itself though the beautifully unique diffuser. It is made from hand-blown, satin-finished and purposefully irregularly shaped glass and therefore arouses associations with a large, freshly washed pebble stone. This organic shape makes, for instance, the pendant light version a special eye-catcher in the dining room or the kitchen. Here, the pleasant lighting effect of a Foscarini Gregg also stands out due to the pleasantly glare-free, uniform all-round light that creates a welcoming ambience. The same effect is ensured if you install
it in the hall. As the name already suggests, the lights of the Foscarini
An elegant shade made from artistically processed Murano glass is the distinguishing feature of the Foscarini
Guggenheim Museum. Here, the asymmetrically layered plastic strips confer a sense of lightness and dynamics to this imposingly looking design object. Due to the dense, opaque material the plastic stripes serve as reflective surfaces on the inside facing upwards and, at the same time, they project the light on the surface located below. A play of light and shadow is created that produces a subdued light which is emphasised through the vigorous colours emitted by this "sun" (English translation of the name).

Foscarini design lights are characterised by innovation – this in ensured by the intensive research conducted in-house. Thus, the Venetians upgrade their products with illuminants of the future, the LED, more and more frequently. The Foscarini Twiggy Terra LED, for instance, requires only 27 watts to achieve 3,000 lumens, which corresponds to the light intensity produced by a conventional 200 W incandescent lamp. This Italian company also stands for carefully checked production processes, excellent service as well as for international presence since Foscarini is represented in 50 countries with more than 2,500 retail outlets. The comprehensive range by Foscarini includes elegant table lamps, pendant lights, ceiling lights and floor lamps as well as decorative and weather-resistant exterior lights. The representative designer lights already received numerous international awards, for instance, the Aplomb Sospensione by Lucidi E. Pevere received the Leuchte des Jahres (Light
of the Year) award in 2010. Some pieces were even exhibited as part of a museum exhibition: the Foscarini Havana designed by Jozeph Forakis in 1993, for instance, was selected by the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) to be a part of the permanent design exhibition. Since 2007 the company also places emphasis on the promotion of young talent: up-and-coming industrial designers have been able to realise their designs in the "Foscarini Lab" and thus enriched the Foscarini range with new creations.
The Italian company also struck out in new directions when it cooperated with the lifestyle brand Diesel. Here, a well-known fashion label meets an unconventional light manufacturer. As a result, the Successful Living collection by Diesel with Foscarini is characterised by designer lights with individual lampshades exuding a particular coolness. For instance, the Fork Terra provided with a shade made from canvas fabric, including seams,
eyelets and overlapping fabric panels develops the casual presence characteristic for the world-famous jeans brand. The cooperation between Foscarini and Diesel aimed at developing new target groups and to fill them with enthusiasm for the topic of light. Here, it is considered as the company’s duty to put emphasis on the importance of light, on the diversity offered by the phenomenon of light, on the atmosphere that can be created and on the fact how high-quality and timeless design can go hand in hand while you are designing a room. This is connected with the corporate philosophy according to which a luminaire should always be a charming eye-catcher within the room. With his aim in mind, Foscarini is able to continually produce extraordinary and unique creations which upgrade every room and give it a special character.
