Elegant design in various shapes: Luceplan Costanza
Costanza series brings clear design and reserved charm into every interior. They create a homey atmosphere, especially when several versions are combined together.
A refined classic that flows seamlessly with any private or commercial interior, Luceplan Costanza
continues its popularity amongst designers. The Costanza light features a large shade that casts direct light up to the ceiling and down onto the surface below, providing a warm and inviting illumination that makes every room comfortable. The Luceplan Costanza shade, available in a wide range of colours, allows diffused light to pass through, creating a lovely glow without any glare.
The Luceplan Costanza family includes several fixtures that facilitate a cosy atmosphere in varied settings. The Costanza Terra is a beautiful floor lamp that is ideal for use in the living room. Some models of this Costanza floor lamp
come with a telescoping arm that allows the user to adjust the height of the shade. Dependant on demand, you can order this lamp with a touch dimmer or a switch. The Luceplan Lady Costanza
floor lamp hangs suspended from a gently arching arm, making it a perfect reading light when combined with a sofa. Thanks to a height adjustment of up to 220 cm, the Costanza Grande lives up to its name as a larger than life light fixture that is sure to catch attention and provide ample light for larger spaces.
The Tavolo models are Costanza lamp fixtures that feel right at home on end tables or on bedside cabinets for easy accent lighting. So with the posh, cool elegance of the Luceplan Costanza Tavolo
, sideboards or cabinets receive a noticeable visual upgrade, being impressively emphasized by the zone lighting of the Costanza table lamp that casts its light downwards. This design classic from 1986 formed the basis for the rest of the Luceplan Costanza family, when Luceplan cofounder Paolo Rizzatto created this table lamp
. It is characterized by a balanced design that results from the harmonious composition of geometric forms.
The Luceplan Costanza Sospensione with drag rope or extendable telescope rod looks almost irresistibly tender and discreet. This elegant appearance has been the reason, why this pendant light
won, among others, prizes like the Concours de la Création Artistique SIL/Paris. Thanks to the flexible drag rope system with a counterweight of dull chromed steel, the Costanza pendant lamp
is adjustable in the height, putting any space into the limelight – whether alone or combined with further fixtures. For example, by giving the dining table in the kitchen or the coffee table in the living room an extensive wash of light. So it certainly is not due to this Luceplan
lamp, when sitting together on a couch in the living room doesn’t result to a joyful happening.
The Luceplan Costanza Parete
is the right choice, when there is no suitable surface or when the ceiling is taken up by another lamp. Every Luceplan Costanza Parete wall light
is available with a touch dimmer, with which the illumination can be individually regulated. The Costanza wall sconce is also available with an on and off switch, the rod-switch is conveniently placed next to the source of light and so allows for switching on and off conveniently. The version with the extendable telescope rod can be adjusted in the height as well.

At the same time, he deepened his know how in illumination design and founded in 1978, together with Riccardo Sarfatti, the Luceplan
company. But Rizatto is still working with other renowned light manufacturers such as Arteluce, Artemide, Luceplan, Alias, Cassina, Nemo, Molteni, Knoll, Kartell, Philips, Montina, Thonet, Mandarina Duck, Guzzini and Lensvelt.
