Design

The Tolomeo Micro LED table lamp from Artemide impresses by its functional, minimalist design. Its purist look is characterised by a filigree body that consists of slim arms, a flat, round base and a classically shaped light head. The high-quality materials and the careful processing ensure a long service life of this light fixture.

The Artemide Tolomeo Micro Tavolo LED was created by the renowned designer Michele De Lucchi. The desk lamp from Artemide, a classic from 1987, was initially presented at the "Euroluce&nquot; trade fair and it immediately achieved first successes. The continuous further development of this functional table lamp with the characteristically filigree look is one reason for its ongoing popularity that lasts until today.

The Tolomeo Micro Tavolo LED desk lamp was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 2011 for Artemide.

Tolomeo Micro Tavolo LED – moveable and energy-saving

The Artemide Tolomeo Micro table lamp combines its elegant, reduced design with modern, energy-saving LED technology. The attractive lighting solution with adjustable arms and a moveable light head scores points with target-oriented light that provides for focused illumination wherever it is required. The new thing about the Tolomeo Micro LED is that it now can be equipped with a dimmer thanks to the innovative light-emitting diode technology. The required light intensity can be continuously controlled and therefore it can be adjusted to suit one’s personal requirements. Furthermore, the Artemide Tolomeo Micro Tavolo LED only requires little energy (energy efficiency class A): the highly efficient LED only requires eight watts to achieve a similar light intensity as a 40 W incandescent lamp.

The Micro, the smallest representative of the Artemide Tolomeo series, is ideally suited to illuminate working surfaces and desks due to its focused direct light. Moreover, the Tolomeo Micro Tavolo LED requires little space as it has a base diameter of only 17 cm. Thanks to the flexible movability of the arms and the light head, this table lamp from the Italian premium manufacturer Artemide allows for glare-free working without any disturbing shadows.
