Design

The Tecnolumen Bulo pendant light LED looks like a sliced sphere. The pendant light with a diameter of 16 cm consists of a cylindrical acrylic diffuser, a satin-finished lens at the bottom and five concentric aluminium rings. Thanks to this ingenious interpretation of a timeless geometric figure, the Bulo pendant light LED from the German light manufacturer Tecnolumen becomes an elegant eye-catcher. The colourful coating on the inside of the aluminium segments additionally gives the pendant lamp a trendy touch. The supply line of the pendant light is coated with plastic and is attached to a black, cylindrical ceiling rose.

Designer

The Bulo Pendant light LED was designed by Prof. Oliver Niewiadomski for Tecnolumen in 2010.

Bulo LED pendant lights: efficient LED lamps

The Tecnolumen Bulo pendant light LED emits bright zone lighting downwards and soft, glare-free mood lighting to the sides. Moreover, the pendant light only requires a power input of 7 watts to generate a luminous flux of 500 lumens. This means that the Bulo pendant light LED from Tecnolumen saves a lot of energy and contributes to protecting the environment since its light is as bright at the light supplied by a conventional 40 W incandescent lamp.

The Tecnolumen Bulo pendant light LED suffuses small dining tables with pleasant warm-white zone lighting. Owing to a colour temperature of 3,000 Kelvin, dinner takes place in a cosy atmosphere with the food and drinks being excellently accentuated. This effect is emphasised by the mood lighting that escapes to the sides.
