Panzeri Emma pendant light – the high art of glass blowing

Design

The shape and quality of the precious crystal lampshade turn the Panzeri Emma pendant light in a true eye-catcher in any interior. The pendant light owes its wonderful aura to an elaborate production. The Emma’s lampshade is manufactured in the glass blowing shops of Venice. During the process, it is given its characteristic fluting which directly affects the lighting effect. Furthermore, the design imitates the shape of a vase, however, with the opening being at the bottom so that the light of the pendant lamp by the Italian light manufacturer Panzeri is released mainly downwards.

Designer

The Emma Pendant Light was designed by Silvia Poma for Panzeri in 2015.

Emma: fascinating combination of zone light and ambient light

The diffusor of the Panzeri Emma releases the emitted light directly downwards as well as softly diffused to the sides. In this way, the pendant light combines zoned lighting with cosy room light. In doing so, the Emma makes use of modern light technology: an LED filament lamp is included in the scope of delivery, and turns the pendant lamp by Panzeri into a real energy saver. Those who prefer using traditional illuminants, may alternatively opt for a halogen lamp of up to 57 watts. Those who don't have a central ceiling outlet don't have to worry either. The Emma can also be used decentrally using a hook that is available as an accessory.
