Characteristic of smoked glass lamps is the gray or brown tint of the glass, which creates charming lighting effects. Opal glass, on the other hand, provides very softly diffused light. Responsible for this is the slight opacity of the glass, which is caused by tiny color pigments or crystals that are embedded in the glass.
Particularly high quality is mouth-blown glass, which is made by hand. This gives you a unique piece with each lamp. Colorful accents you set with lights that have tinted glasses. These are usually colored in several steps during blowing.
