Directional mood lighting out of a luminous cube: Cini & Nils Cubo
Not many works are allowed to be part of the permanent exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The table lamps by Cini&Nils Cubo
received the rare honour to enter the exclusive circle.
Fumble around in the dark for the light switch can be frustrating. With a Cini&Nils Cuboluce
this nuisance becomes a thing of the past. The bedside lamp not only appeals with its geometrical design that makes this luminaire an immediate eye catcher. The Cuboluce table lamp by Cini&Nils
stands out for its ingenious functionality as well: all you have to do is to open the lid to switch the lamp on and close it to switch it off. The reflective cover directs the light precisely where you need it, making it an excellent reading light. At the same time the lid serves as a reflector, with which the light atmosphere can be changed. Cini&Nils Cuboluce has a double-walled design with an insulating film of air and 331 ventilation holes in the base, meaning that the exterior surfaces of the lamp never become hot to the touch, even after several hours of operation.
The playful adjustment of illuminating the environment is also perfectly accomplished by the Cini&Nils Cuboled
. This luminaire offers modern LED technology and is, like the previous lamp, available in many trendy colours. So the Cini&Nils Cubo LED table lamp
can be ordered in a traditional look in black, silver, white or Nickel black as well as in more gaudy violet or red.
Measuring just 20 square centimetres at a height of only 11 centimetres, the small designer lamp Designerleuchte Cini&Nils Cuboluce LED doesn’t require much space. Therefore this table lamp
is ideally suitable not only for the bedside table in the bedroom, where it serves as a beautiful eye-catcher. A side table or a sideboard in the living room, a cabinet in the dining room or a cupboard in a corridor are further places where a Cini&Nils Cuboluce leaves a bright, distinguishing mark. One more popular field of application is the children's room. Here, thanks to its straightforward appearance and its easy handling, this luminous object is particularly well received, too.
Additional information about the designers: The two Italian designers Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi established Cini&Nils
in order to market their products directly to consumers. “Playing” with the ray of lights is the distinguishing feature of Cini&Nils lamps. Illuminating the room is as important as delighting the eye of the viewer with a sophisticated design.
