As soon as the Cini&Nils Cuboled is folded open, light is supplied. Once you close the cover again, the light disappears again in the "box": in this regard you may freely modify the Cini&Nils Cuboled as desired – depending on the opening degree, the table lamp provides for different levels of lighting. The Cuboled table lamps provide for different kinds of brightness, depending on the occasion or the requirements. It may supply a little light or a lot of light. If you only need some atmospheric mood lighting, slightly open the cover of the Cini&Nils Cuboled. Push the cover further open to allow the Cuboled from Cini&Nils to supply emphasising zone lighting that effectively highlights selected objects. The Cini&Nils Cuboled is supplied including integrated LED lamps that not only impress by a high luminous efficacy but also by a high energy efficiency. Here, a lens focuses the light by 2 x 12° which ensures a significant concentration of the light. Thus, with only 2 watts a Cuboled from Cini&Nils supplies the area to be illuminated with three times the amount of brightness than a 40 W incandescent lamp. The double-walled construction, the insulating layer of air and 331 ventilation holes make sure that the Cuboled from Cini&Nils will not become hot even after a long operating time.

I AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED: SEE DESCRIPTION OF THE REASON:
I had/have had a Cuboluce for 15 years, which was fitted with an old bulb. With an adapter base I was able to use
I was then able to use LED spotlights, which then go under the lid because of the base and spotlight, but that doesn't matter.
The light is great. I'm 69 years old and can read wonderfully with it. Unfortunately, the lid closes easily. The hinge of the lid seems to be slack. Sometimes it doesn't hold. That's why I ordered a new Cuboluce from you.
PITY, I am absolutely dissatisfied with the LED version. It's a dull FUNCTION, unfortunately. The new lamp from you is completely useless for me, 69 years old, for reading. A bad buy. Unfortunately.
I would like to swap the Cuboluce for the old model. Then I would fit the old model with the base and use the powerful LED spotlight lamp. That would be perfect. .... Unfortunately it's a bad buy.

ICH BIN EXTREM UNZUFRIEDEN: SIEHE BESCHREIBUNG DES GRUNDES:
Ich hatte/habe seit 15 Jahren eine Cuboluce, die mit einem alten Leuchtmittel ausgestattet war. Mit einem Adapter Sockel konnte
ich dann LED Strahler verwenden, die dann wegen Sockel und Strahler, bis unter den Deckel gehen, das macht ab er nichts.
Das Licht ist großartig. Ich bin 69 Jahre alt und kann damit wunderbar lesen. Leider klappt der Deckel leicht zu. Das Scharnier des Deckels scheint erschlafft zu sein. Manchmal hält er manchmal nicht. Darum habe ich von Ihnen eine neue Cuboluce bestellt.
LEIDER, ich bin absolut unzufrieden mit der LED Variante. Es ist eine trübe FUNZEL, Leider. Die neue Lampe von Ihnen ist für mich, 69 Jahre, zum lesen völlig unbrauchbar. Ein Fehlkauf. Leider.
Ich würde die Cuboluce gerne gegen das alte Modell tauschen. Dann würde ich das alte Modell mit dem Sockel ausrüsten und die starke LED Strahler Lampe einsetzen. Das wäre perfekt. .... So ist esl leider ein Fehlkauf.
Vielleicht rufen Sie mich an, und wir finden eine Lösung. Ich lade Ihnen auch gerne ein Foto von der alten Leuchte hoch.

The Cini&Nils Cuboled is the successor of the design classic Cuboluce. While the Cuboluce is fitted with a classic incandescent lamp, the Cuboled – as the name already suggests – is equipped with an LED lamp. More than 15 years ago, I bought a Cuboluce in Cologne, which has been in use on my bedside table every day since then. Then it broke unfortunately. I found another small lamp in the household, which I had been gifted and which was apparently well suited as a bedside lamp. But every night I missed my Cuboluce. After 5 days with this replacement solution I thought to myself "Life is too short to live with bad light" and ordered a Cuboled. Both the Cuboled and Cuboluce can be switched on by lifting the lid. However in contrast to ordinary lamps, this lamp does not only have "light on - light off". Depending on how widely open, the light cone changes and thus the brightness of the lamp. If the lid is set up at 90° - this is the maximum lid opening - the entire room behind the lamp is illuminated. The smaller the angle of the cover opening, the more focused the light emitted. In this way, the light beam can be directed in the desired direction. At the same time, you have the effect of a dimmer. Before I go to bed I switch on the lamp – 90° - then I can put together my clothes for the next day. And as I love to read crime novels before sleeping, I fold the lid down a little for reading. For switching the light off, you only need to close the lid completely. This still works when your eyes are almost closed. Besides the many light variants, I love about this lamp that there is no switch to look for first, which is perhaps integrated in the supply line, which then hangs around somewhere. No switch that is so tiny on the lamp that you almost break your fingers trying to switch it on and off. With a closed lid, when the lamp is switched off, the Cuboled is a design object that simply looks beautiful. After my research of possible suppliers on the internet, I quickly decided to order it at light11. It was in stock and the price was right, too. The delivery was prompt. The lamp itself is wrapped in a cloth bag, which then again is packed in an original package. This package was packed into a sturdy cardboard box for shipping. I was very satisfied with the quickness and shipping of light11 and would shop at light11 again at any time.
