Philip Bro – Nordic designs with a poetic touch
Philip Bro Ludvigsen, born in Australia in 1962, graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, better known as the Danish Design School, in 1989. After working for several design studios, he finally founded his own studio in 2001. Since then, he has been creating high-quality products for interior design, especially furniture and lighting, for which he has already won several awards.
A major interest of the Danish industrial designer is the development of sustainable products. His designs are characterized by high durability as well as a poetic touch. Also characteristic of objects by Philip Bro are rounded shapes and soft, natural materials.
