Timeless designs, high manufacturing quality and sustainable production: these are the hallmarks of luminaires from maigrau. The company was founded in 2007 by Nik Back and Alexander Stamminger and is based in Schwäbisch Hall, southern Germany. There, durable designer lamps are created that are reduced to the essentials and made of high-quality materials.

Sustainability plays a major role for the manufacturer. This is evidenced not only by the production in Germany, which allows for short transport routes, but above all by the materials used: maigrau uses only certified wood from German forests for its lamps. Because the responsible treatment of nature is a central concern of the company. In addition, maigrau cooperates with selected manufactories in order to contribute to the preservation of craftsmanship.

Luca – stylish tripod lights for direct and indirect light

The Luca lights radiate coziness with their tripod frame made of certified oak wood and the dimmable light. The light shines down and up through the cylindrical textile shade, creating direct as well as indirect lighting.

The maigrau floor lamp, which is available in various sizes and designs, is thus equally suitable as a reading or room lamp. Placed next to the sofa or armchair in the living room, it provides uplight and downlight and at the same time provides an attractive eye-catcher. Acting maximally ecologically and sustainably on all levels – maigrau acts according to this maxim. To meet the high demands on itself, the company relies on regional manufacturing and uses certified wood from German forests.

By producing in Germany, the manufacturer also ensures efficient transport routes and climate-friendly logistics. In addition, maigrau uses the most ecological packaging possible in the smallest possible pack size.

Even beyond production, maigrau sets an example in terms of sustainability: together with a foundation, the company plants around 1,000 trees a year, thus making an important contribution to climate protection.
