Design

The Slamp Clizia ceiling light, a piece by Adriano Rachele, impresses by its extravagant design. The ceiling light, which is made by hand in Italy, consists of many delicate squares made of the innovative synthetic material Opalflex^®. Being a mesh that was deliberately put together in an irregular way and that offers an appealingly shimmering surface, this ceiling light serves as an unparalleled eye-catcher. By the way, Opalflex^® not only impresses with an attractive appearance, but also with its environmentally friendly manufacturing. Furthermore, the material can be recycled. Clizia or Clytia is a name that calls for different associations. For instance, it reminds us of ancient queens, celestial bodies and primarily a nymph that was in love with the sun god and was then doomed to follow the sun in its transit across the sky.

The Slamp Clizia offers a charming light show that is produced thanks to its innovative material Opalflex^®. This material refracts the light in a fascinating way and softly diffuses it in all directions. As a result, the Clizia ceiling light provides for an impressive lighting experience that not simply illuminates the room. Moreover, the ceiling light from the Italian light manufacturer Slamp is very energy-efficient. For this, light11 recommends equipping this ceiling light with energy-saving lamps. These require only little power and simultaneously ensure a high light intensity. Another advantage is the easy assembly of the Clizia ceiling light by means of a magnetic attachment.
