The Serien Lighting Zoom pendant light LED is reminiscent of a precious crown. The pendant light owes its majestic appeal to a simple mechanical trick: a lattice construction made of brushed stainless steel with translucent strips of plastic. This allows you to continuously extend the lamp shade. Thereby, the Zoom LED can reach a diameter of up to 130 cm. In order to maintain the light quality typical of the halogen version of the Zoom pendant light, the LED version comes with special lenses that ensure a high quality of light. Thus, the eye-catching pendant light designed by Floyd Paxton for the German light manufacturer Serien Lighting has fairly earned the Red Dot Award.

Zoom LED pendant lights: extensive ambient light through efficient LEDs

The Serien Lighting Zoom pendant light LED emits its light evenly in all directions. Thereby, the luminaire suffuses its surrounding area with softly diffused ambient light. Thanks to the positioning of the LEDs inside of the lamp shade, the Zoom pendant light does not glare the viewer. What is more, the integrated LEDs prove extraordinarily economical. Altogether, they consume only 30 watts to produce a luminous flux that easily exceeds that of a 150 watts incandescent lamp. Furthermore, the Zoom LED can be operated by means of a leading-edge dimmer or a trailing-edge dimmer.
