What are the different battery types?
Lithium-ion (Li-ion) and lithium-polymer (LiPo, LiPol) batteries are the most common. In addition, there are nickel-cadmium batteries (NiCd) and nickel-metal hydride batteries (NiMH). Some lights are also powered by commercially available batteries.
How do I charge a rechargeable light?
On the respective product page, you will find information on how to charge the desired battery light. For most battery lights, this is done via a USB cable. The majority of our manufacturers use the current USB-C standard. Due to the extensive compatibility of USB products, the USB cables are no longer included in many cases, which is more sustainable and cost-efficient.
Some battery lights are particularly innovative and conveniently rechargeable via docking or charging station. To do this, simply place the wireless light on the station and the battery charges.
By the way, some of our LED battery lights are equipped with a USB charging port for external devices. This means that you can use it to charge your smartphone, for example, while you enjoy a relaxing evening on the balcony.
How long do battery lamps shine?
The lighting duration of battery lights varies from product to product and depends on the batteries used as well as the LED modules. You can find concrete information about the battery life of your desired light on the respective product page.
Basically, the battery lamp shines longer at lowest light intensity than at full light intensity. At the highest light intensity, the LED light usually burns up to 6 hours, with some products even 8 hours or longer. If you set the lowest light intensity, the battery usually lasts even longer.
Can I replace the batteries in my lamp?
Many batteries can be replaced by yourself. If possible, we will provide you with information on the respective product page. It is also worthwhile to obtain information from the relevant manufacturer. Some batteries can only be replaced by the manufacturer, others cannot be replaced at all.
