Nemo - effectively staged purism
Nemo stands for a modern, clear design language combined with innovative technologies. The lighting manufacturer understands the art of reduction and uses metal and hand-blown glass for many of its products. The Italian company was founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini and has been producing a wide range of lighting types ever since: From modern chandeliers and classic wall lights to linear floor lamps, everything is included.
Nemo is also known for its Master collection, which includes a selection of premium luminaires designed by masters of the 20th century, such as Le Corbusier. Nemo also develops contemporary luminaires, which are the result of collaborations with numerous renowned designers such as Mario Bellini and Andrea Branzi.
Crown - the modern chandelier of today
With Crown, Nemo presents a minimalist interpretation of the chandelier. The shape of a crown is retained, but the design is less opulent and pompous and more rational and straightforward. Nevertheless, the luminaire is a sophisticated appearance that creates a special flair with its soft ambient light. It is ideal for lighting prestigious entrance halls, stairwells or galleries and also attracts attention above the dining table. The collection comes alive with modern colours and a variety of arms. In addition to the pendant version, Crown is also available as a wall and floor lamp.
Ellisse - precise elegance
Ellisse plays with the geometric shapes of an ellipse (Italian: ellisse). One or more filigree rings with built-in LEDs are the defining element. The delicate design lends the luminaire a certain lightness, but at the same time gives it a strong presence in the room. Ellisse is available as a floor and pendant luminaire, the latter of which hangs from extremely thin cables, giving the impression that the luminaire is floating in the room. Depending on the model, Ellisse offers uplight and/or downlight and is an enchanting pendant light above the dining or coffee table. The floor light is particularly effective when positioned in front of a wall, creating gentle light reflections.
