Moonlight luminaires – atmospheric lighting ideas for the garden and outdoor areas
Moonlight garden lights stand for expressive light dynamics at a high decorative level.
At the beginning, there was a sphere
The German light manufacturer Moonlight was founded by Willi Wolfgang Oswald in the city of Wehr in 1997. Here, the company produces and markets its successful, innovative lighting concepts. The basic idea is to create a garden light that discreetly blends into the landscape and still sets unique accents with its luminosity. Light fixtures by Moonlight fulfil these requirements by means of their flawless spherical shape without any disturbing fittings or visible cables. Thanks to their lightweight, weightless appearance, the Moonlight garden lights give the impression that they were incidentally put in the garden. The spherical Moonlight luminaires made of solid polyethylene are waterproof and they convince with their extreme weather and temperature resistance. Due to the use of energy-saving lamps, an energy-efficient operation is guaranteed even over a long operating time. This makes the Moonlight garden lights durable, economical lighting objects.
One shape – many areas of application
Moonlight lamps are available in different sizes. They can be used for decoration purposes on lawn areas as well as along ponds and flower beds. Special Moonlight outdoor lamps equipped with a base are particularly well suited for illuminating driveways, paths and terraces. In addition to the colour white and different textures, Moonlight lamps are also available with a patented colour filter system. They produce colourful ambient lighting with different brightness levels. The high number of possible applications and the plain, expressive design of the Moonlight luminaires instantly convinced the respective experts. The Moonlight outdoor lights already had some appearances in movies and TV shows and they are well known due to numerous articles in magazines. Up to now, the young company received eight international design awards, for instance, the Red Dot Award and the IF-Design Award for their Moonlight lamps.
