A simple, pragmatic appearance is the hallmark of the Mawa Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round semi-flush LED. The housing of this ceiling light practically disappears completely into drywall ceilings when plastered, so that not even its edge is visible. The inconspicuous appearance of this recessed spotlight is also matched by the fact that neither screws nor cables disturb the view. The cylindrical luminaire head plays the main role in the design of the Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round semi-flush LED. It was designed by Jan Dinnebier and received the prestigious German Design Award in 2018.

The Mawa Wittenberg 4.0 recessed ceiling light round semi-flush LED shines precisely in the desired direction. Its lamp head tilts 90° on the one hand and rotates 365° on the other. This gives the user many options for adjusting the light. Thanks to the good glare control, this light is pleasantly soft. The light source is a contemporary LED module that consumes little energy but emits a lot of light. This can be dimmed by cutting edge or leading edge dimmers in order to be able to adjust the brightness individually. A bayonet lock developed by Mawa allows the modification of the luminaire head, for instance to use an optional accessory.
