Lirio by Philips: large selection of lights for many areas of application

The timeless design and the excellent lighting competence of Philips Lirio made this large collection win numerous awards. For instance, the Philips Lirio Cielo pendant light LED won the internationally renowned German Red Dot Award. The light available with a noble brass, black or white surface finish impresses by its classic lampshade, while its outer surface either forms an appealing contrast to or a homogenous unity with the white inner surface. If it is installed above a dining table in the kitchen or the dining room it suffuses the table with pleasant, warm-white LED light that invites you to linger in a cosy setting. This light produces a luminous flux of 2,350 lumens which corresponds to the value achieved by a 150 W incandescent lamp; however, it only requires a power input of 48 watts. The Philips Lirio Piculet floor lamp LED , for instance, was able to win the renowned iF Design Award. This light source that was inspired by the silhouette of a piculet is particularly useful next to an armchair or a sofa as it assists you with pleasant reading light and thereby allows you to enjoy reading the newspaper, a novel or a magazine. This floor lamp requires a power input of only 5 watts for this purpose.

The Philips Lirio La Lente is reminiscent of a magnifying glass that cuts an excellent figure on a bedside table in the bedroom. Here, it also provides for a pleasant reading light that allows you to enjoy reading while you are lying in bed. Thanks to the integrated touch dimmer, it also takes over the role of a mood light that ensures a soft transition between daytime and night-time. The memory function makes sure that the light intensity last chosen is automatically selected when the light is switched on again. A fine lighting solution for a sideboard or a commode is offered by the Balanza table lamp by Philips Lirio. Its round base and lampshade represent a particularly balanced design that creates an atmosphere of pure harmony. The purist light source produces a pleasant oasis of light around its luminaire body. Objects illuminated in its sphere of activity are authentically reproduced due to the brilliant colour rendering of the halogen lamp included in the scope of supply. The integrated dimmer allows for a needs-oriented adjustment of the light intensity.

Furthermore, the range of applications of Philips Lirio is extended by ceiling lights such as the Vetro which is often used to provide for ambient lighting in a hall, spotlights such as the Lirio Bloq which effectively highlights a shelf or a cupboard thanks to its flexible adjustability and wall lights such as the Philips Lirio Vetro which smoothly adapts to the wall and suffuses its environment with indirect, warm light.
