Furniture lights

Furniture luminaires are directly attached to the respective piece of furniture. Here, they provide bright zone lighting for defined areas. Furniture lights typically emit their light downwards. These lights are often adjustable, which allows you to adjust the light as desired. In order to illuminate cupboards and shelves, it is recommended to use practical clip-on lights which are portable and can therefore be attached to the shelves.

The light11 recommendation

  • Furniture lights equipped with incandescent lamps and halogen lamps have a better colour rendering than, for instance, those provided with fluorescent lamps. They let the illuminated items shine in natural colours. Wooden surfaces also cut a particularly fine figure thanks to the high red component in the light.

  • As part of the incandescent lamp phase-out, all incandescent lamps and most halogen lamps disappear from the market. An efficient alternative is offered by LEDs, which are particularly economical and stand out for a long service life. Modern LEDs offer a good light quality and an excellent luminous efficacy.

  • In the kitchen, furniture lights that offer additional outlets for other kitchen appliances are particularly advantageous.
