Holtkötter – puristic design luminaires in German brand quality
Decades of experience, precise workmanship and a high degree of innovative strength: these are the prerequisites under which the family company founded in 1964 by Franz Holtkötter produces high-quality premium luminaires. At the company's location in Westphalia, first-class quality products "made in Germany" are created in almost completely independent production. Trained specialists accompany every step of the manufacturing process – from toolmaking to turning and final assembly.
Almost all products are equipped with efficient LED technology, which impresses with very good to brilliant color rendering. Holtkötter's design is based on minimalism and relies predominantly on filigree, slender shapes and precious metals. The result is, among other things, purist uplights that combine several lighting components, as well as innovative reading lights with articulated arms.
The Flex concept is as simple as it is ingenious: a hard-wearing flexible tube serves as the luminaire arm and can be individually swiveled and bent. In addition, the flat, round metal head itself can be rotated. These features allow you to direct the light exactly where you need it.
Flex is available in a wide range of colors. The product family includes various types of lights with LED technology, ranging from wall and ceiling lights to table and floor lamps and space-saving clamp lights.
Nova underlines Holtkötter's purist design style as well as its preference for high-quality metals. The minimalist uplighter is characterized by the combination of several lighting components. On the one hand, the floor lamp offers uplight with an enormous luminous intensity, on the other hand, light radiates downwards.
This is done either by a small light disk, which is located between the swivel reflector, or by an additional lamp arm. This is a reading arm that can be individually bent, as with luminaires of the Holtkötter Flex family, or a height-adjustable side arm with ball joint. The Nova is operated steplessly via two separately controllable touch dimmers.
Luminaires with articulated arm from Holtkötter score in two respects: on the one hand, they are height-adjustable by means of an invisible Liftomatik, and on the other hand, the arm can be aligned thanks to a ball joint.
