Flos Wan: Minimalism meets efficient radiance

The Wan collection of the Italian manufacturer Flos impresses by reduced shaping and excellent lighting effect. Beyond that, it is characterized by a wide range of applications. To top all this, a very attractive price performance ration makes Flos Wan lamps ideal to be used in larger quantities and thus meet different lighting requirements.

With their pure design, Flos Wan lamps bring added value to their environment in a subtly decorative way. High quality materials like hardened safety glass and precious aluminium ensure robustness. Exchangeable retaining rings not just provide stable mounting but also add a nice element to the lights. A stylish high gloss finish tastefully tops off the attractive appearance.

Flos Wan lamps enjoy great popularity in many spaces. On the one hand, Wan ceiling lights appeal by first class processing and subtle design. With their downward beam of light, on the other hand, they serve as efficient lighting for sideboards and cabinets in dining and living rooms as well as bedrooms. Flos Wan Downlights are in-ground lights, which please the eye through their restraint, though highly decorative, look. Discreetly recessed into the ceiling, they give off a substantial amount of anti-glare general lighting in the bedroom and the living room. Concentrated light is cast by the spotlight Flos Wan Spot on paintings, cabinets and shelves, which become the focus of attention. This lamp is rotatable by 360 degrees and pivotable by 60 degrees, so it can offer a maximum amount of flexibility.

With the smooth design of Flos Wan fixtures, designer Johanna Grawunder wants to bring an elementary object to the mind of mankind. Therefore the lights are named “Wan”, the Japanese word for “bowl”.
