Balad outdoor luminaires – functional, flexible, colorful
With their practical, colorful design, the Balad luminaires exemplify Fermob's design aspirations. The versatile LED battery lights are splash-proof and therefore predestined for outdoor lighting. With the durable outdoor lights you create atmospheric islands of light in the garden, on the terrace or balcony.
This is ensured by the diffuse light, which gently scatters into the surroundings through the polyethylene diffuser. To change the lighting effect, dim the light or set a different light color. You can make your outdoor lighting especially atmospheric by activating the candlelight flicker mode.
So that you can easily carry the lamp from one place to another, the Balad has a handle that is available in many colors. This way you can set decorative colorful accents with the battery lamps.
The Fermob lamps are impact resistant and shatterproof, which makes them particularly robust outdoor lamps. They are available in different sizes as well as in practical sets. In addition, we offer the Balad as a floor lamp and arc lamp.
Spare parts and accessories for Balad
With the optional accessories, the Fermob Balad can be used even more versatile. So you can transform the table / floor lamp with the matching foot into a floor lamp or arc lamp. Or you function the battery lamp with the ground spike into a light that you can conveniently mount in the ground. This way, you can make your outdoor lighting even more flexible.
In addition, you will discover additional accessories such as a USB power supply and find spare parts for your Fermob Balad lamp. Thanks to the LED modules and diffusers you increase the longevity of your Balad lamp. Because with them you can easily update your outdoor lamp over time and do not need to buy a new one.
Tristan Lohner – a champion of popular design
Industrial designer Tristan Lohner earned his arts and crafts diploma at La Bonne Graine, a furniture school in Paris. He then studied product design in the French capital. Today, the Frenchman is deputy general manager of the RBC Group, where he is mainly responsible for the RBC Design Center. The 2,500-square-meter concept store is devoted entirely to design.
In between, Lohner still appears as a designer. His designs are characterized by simple, timeless shapes and long-lasting quality. As an advocate of popular design, the Frenchman focuses on very high usability and designs products that are suitable for everyday use and visually reduced to the essentials.
In addition to Balad, he has also created the LED lamps Mooon! and Aplô for the Fermob brand. He received the Red Dot Award for the former. Both outdoor luminaires feature a robust diffuser made of polyethylene, through which the dimmable light radiates evenly into the surroundings. While the diffuser of the Mooon! is reminiscent of a full moon, the diffuser of the Aplô has a light bulb design.
