Strong light in price-winning shape – Artemide Talo

A plain and reduced design characterises the aesthetically shaped Talo serie by Artemide. One more excellence is its ability to illuminate living room and Co. extensively via direct and indirect light. Several prices like red dot award, iF product design award and L´Observeur Du Design are strong indicators for the enduring impression that one gets when coming across an Artemide Talo.

The nicely shaped light sources are available as wall and pendant lights in many versions. Artemide Talo Parete is an extremely flat a wall light without disturbing assembly seems, nestling along the wall with its elegant curves. So it symbolises classy understatement in its purest form. Therefore it is assembled in the living as well as in the sleeping and dining room, where its low-key attractiveness shows off to its best advantage. Its structure is made of aluminium profiles, which are connected via bended endings from pressure-cast aluminium. Two diffusers provide for direct and indirect light distribution. The slim profile is 3.4 cm high, the lamp features a total depth of ten centimetres.

Depending on the desired light source, these fixtures radiate different light. The Artemide Talo Parete Halo version contains an energy saving eco halogen lamp, which is known for its effective light yield and the low consumption of electricity. It is also popular for the fact that it supplies much more illumination than a usual 60W bulb. The Artemide Talo Parete Fluo however is run with an energy efficient compact fluorescent lamp (not included!), which impresses with colour-fast and intensive light. It is ideally suited for corridors and stairways. The Artemide Talo Parete LED at last comes with a 18 watt LED, which gives warm and white light and provides - besides assets such as energy efficiency and longevity – colour stability and resistance against hocks and vibrations.

The Artemide Talo Sospensione is a pendant light, which sets highest standards in terms of decent practicality. It can be ordered in the versions 90, 120 and 150 cm. Its body is made from aluminium profiles, which are connected via bended endings from pressure-cast aluminium. Four wire ropes serve both as suspension and power supply.

The longish versions of the Talo Parete wall lights stand also for perfectly minimalistic design. They are available in different lengths (90, 120 and 150 cm). They distribute the light via two diffusers directly and indirectly up and downwards. Their structure and the locking system are made of precious aluminium.

The Artemide Talo Parete due in linea, available with the lengths 180 and 240 cm, spreads its brightness over two successively arranged diffusers directly and indirectly upwards and downwards. It has also been awarded many prices.

Anti-glare light at the workplace is given you by the Artemide Darklight. Optics for the Talo pendant lights can be ordered under “accessories”.
