Luceplan Hope - extraordinary design for dazzling light reflections
With the Luceplan Hope, you can bring the charm of traditional chandeliers into your home and create an incomparably sparkling lighting atmosphere. The modern interpretation of the chandelier is based on new materials and innovative technologies. At the centre of the award-winning design are the transparent Fresnel lenses made of methacrylate, which refract the light.

The two designers Francisco Gómez Paz and Paolo Rizzatto have won several prizes for Hope, including the Compasso d'Oro and the Red Dot Award.
The Luceplan Hope Designer
Francisco Gómez Paz - experimental industrial designer
Francisco Gómez Paz was born in Salta, Argentina, in 1975 and studied industrial design in his home country. In 1998, he moved to Milan to complete his master's degree in design at the Domus Academy. In 2004, he finally opened his own studio in Milan, where he has since designed furniture and lighting for many renowned manufacturers.
The Argentinian was already interested in mechanics as a child and enjoyed taking his toys apart in order to better understand the function behind them. Francisco Gómez Paz has retained this curiosity to this day. He enjoys experimenting with modern technologies and new materials.
In addition to Hope, he has also designed Mesh and Tango for Luceplan. The former impresses as an extraordinary network of light, while the latter provides indirect ambient light as a sculptural floor lamp.
Paolo Rizzatto - designer, architect and founder of Luceplan
Paolo Rizzatto was born in Milan in 1941 and later studied at the Polytechnic in the fashion and design metropolis. After graduating, he worked as a designer, architect and interior designer. Together with Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi, he founded Luceplan in 1978. The Italian brand is now one of the leading suppliers of exclusive designer lighting.
Rizzatto has designed luminaires for his company and other well-known manufacturers, many of which have become world-famous design classics. In addition to Hope, the Luceplan Costanza and Berenice lamps are examples of this. While he has reinterpreted the classic shade lamp with Costanza, the minimalist Berenice reading lamp is characterised by its very flexible, directable light.
