IP44.de – when design and quality convince all along the line
Why should outdoor lights not be as aesthetically pleasing as indoor lights? It was this question that led to the foundation of the German premium brand IP44.de. It is therefore no coincidence that the brand's outdoor luminaires look confusingly similar to indoor luminaires at first glance and have already won many design awards. In terms of durability, however, they are consistently designed for outdoor use.
This decisive feature is already in the name of the manufacturer: IP44 stands for robust, everyday lights that are protected against splashing water. However, this is rarely enough for the family-owned company, which is why many lights have a protection rating of at least IP65, true to the motto of IP44.de to always go beyond usual standards. This also applies to LED technology: IvyLight – the innovative light and heat management – makes the products particularly efficient and durable.
One focus of IP44.de is on solar lights for sustainable lighting as well as modern garden lighting systems. In addition, the manufacturer has converted its LED lighting to the light color 2,700 Kelvin for a more environmentally conscious approach to nature. The warm white light, which we find particularly cozy, takes into account nocturnal insects, as it is less likely to hinder the animals in their orientation.
Lix – minimalist battery and solar lights for atmospheric light
With its reduced design language and high-quality LED technology, Lix exemplifies the design standards of IP44.de. The stylish luminaire emits its light downwards without glare and thus provides atmospheric lighting while you enjoy a cozy summer evening on the terrace or in the garden.
The product family includes a battery lamp in many different colors as well as solar lights. The Lix battery lamp can be dimmed for an even cozier atmosphere using a 4-level touch dimmer. If you opt for the lowest light intensity, the mobile light will provide you with up to 45 hours of warm white light.

Slat – flexible adjustable outdoor light
With the Slat collection, IP44.de excellently proves its reputation as a specialist for stylish outdoor lighting. The bollard, wall/ceiling and ground lights of the German designer Klaus Nolting are visually characterized by their sober, restrained design with clean lines and noble metal surfaces. The highlight is the continuously rotatable light bar, which allows for different lighting scenarios.
While the bollard luminaires provide you with light on garden paths or driveways, the wall/ceiling luminaires serve as facade lighting on private or public buildings. With the compact luminaires for the ground, on the other hand, you set the scene for bushes in gardens or parks.

With Solar Join, the German manufacturer focuses on a sustainable garden lighting system. The solar lights charge during the day by solar energy and then give you cozy light. You can connect up to four solar lamps by means of plugs and connect them to a solar panel. In this way, you create individual islands of light in the garden.

The individual components can be easily and independently installed and are compatible with all IP44.de portable LED outdoor lights. Since the system can be easily expanded and modified, you benefit from a high degree of flexibility in your garden lighting.
Solar lights from IP44.de
With its solar light collection, IP44.de makes an important contribution to sustainable lighting. The outdoor lamps do not require a power grid, as they draw their energy from the sun. Thus, you benefit on the one hand from environmentally friendly lighting and on the other hand from a high flexibility. Because sockets on the balcony, terrace or in the garden are not necessary to create cozy oases of light to feel good.
During the day, the IP44.de lights charge up via the solar panel to switch on automatically at nightfall and switch off again after about 5 hours. There are also models that you can switch manually.
IP44.de – specialist for high-quality outdoor lighting for three decades
It all began in 1993 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück (East Westphalia): The family-run lighting retailer, which had been successful for three generations, was always at a loss. The family could not recommend outdoor luminaires to their customers in good conscience. Bernd Schmalhorst then founded IP44.de.
The name reflects the requirements of the enterprise optimally: IP44 as usual industrial standard means that a light is robust and splash-proof and is suitable thus for the external area. The manufacturer's luminaires meet this requirement and often go beyond it. The manufacturer has included the "de" in its name to indicate its German commitment to quality.
Since the company was founded, IP44.de has always evolved, but has always remained true to itself. The company is still family-run and the passion for good light as well as functional, aesthetic designs is unbroken.
